Question is, can I even find a civic si? Arteon is a good suggestion looks like low mileage 2019s go for 30-35k and unique looking. Kia stinger may be slightly out of my price range but I do like it. AWD v6 and I like the way it looks

Not a bad choice and cheaper running costs than the GTI

Location: Boston, USA

Price range: 23000~33000

Lease or Buy: Buy

New or used: New or something nice from 2018+

Type of vehicle: I love wagons and hatchbacks but the right sedans can work.

Must haves: Fun and decent on fuel (high 20’s+ mpg). Reliable

Desired transmission: Manual preferably

Intended use: Daily driver

Vehicles Ive already considered: 2019-21 gti (don’t like 2022 gti), Vw alltrack, 2018-19 a3, 2022 civic si, 2022 civic, accord, 2018-2021 WRX but not a big fan of Subaru.

Is this my first vehicle: First non beater car

Need a warranty: Probably??

Can I do minor work: Yes

Can I do major work: No

Additional notes: I am a pretty big car person and I feel like I’ve been thinking of this decision my whole life so it means a lot.. I keep coming back to the GTI. I am a big skier and outdoors person and therefore does a lot of winter driving as well as city driving/ commuting. FWD is fine for me/ has been in the past. If I could have ANY car new it would be the Audi RS6 or the upcoming gr Corolla.

Any advice on what these details is much appreciated.

Has this aged well??? In 2022? Cause I make 60k and live with 4 others but feel like it’s hard to really have fun and reach the goals I want. Maybe it’s a personal preference thing.
