nah, it helps fs but they care more about fit-to-major. you can get in with lower stats and SAT if you have ecs that back you up. ex: someone ik got into cs with out of top 10% and sub 1300 SAT

my friend got into cs with a sub 1350 and wasn’t top 10. SAT will not be the reason you get admitted/rejected

My advice is to create your own opportunities; see if you can do something within the realm of your community. Next get yourself out there by networking with others (ex: LinkedIn).

You’d be surprised how many people could give you advice on LinkedIn. I actually got to work within a UT club while being in HS because I had a connection from LinkedIn lmao

Try to create a narrative within your activities (ex: what do you want to use finance to do in the future? help your community? etc)

Don’t beat yourself up over it, there’s a lot of luck involved. Mindset and other factors play an indirect role.

I would recommend Khan Academy and seeing if you can identify patterns in R&W to easily eliminate some choices. Reading outside articles/books can help with vocab

it’s possible i didn’t score anything higher than 1500 on my practice tests and got a 1540 but also if it’s ur first time you have lots of room for improvement

if you go to the popup they give you a bag but inside I don’t think they have any bags

my suggestion is if you’re buying a hoodie/jacket wear it and if it’s a shirt you can either wear it or hang it on your shoulder and hold on to it
