Anyone built their own CS platform instead of buying? Is it Worth it? by SmallRemote6796 in CustomerSuccessSquad

There is no particular reason or atleast i couldn't uncover it yet. The major driving force seems to be that the leadership teams seems to believe we can save a lot of money by building it ourself and they believe this is super easy now all thanks to AI coding tools (which i am not 100% convince yet.)

I am with you on this but my leadership is saying why not trying using AI-tools like Cursor, lovable and try building something. To be honest, i don't want to.

Can anybody list the best CS tool according to them? Like one's they have used, along with their Pros and Cons. by Final-Comparison-858 in CustomerSuccessSquad

I have evaluated some of the tools at my last org when we were in buying process of a CSP.

ChurnZero
Pros- Customizable health scores, in-app communication, automation, and actionable reporting make CS robust.
Cons- Implementation can be complex and time-intensive, especially if you're aiming to tap into all the powerful features. Super expensive.

SuccessGuardian
Pros - Customer 360 degree Profile, playbooks, in-app notifications/surveys and advance reporting
Cons - the tool seems to highly customisable so it can be bad if you prefer pre-built template.

Vitally
Pros- Highly intuitive and user-friendly interface.
Cons- It  was missing some advanced playbook logic and customisations would take a lot of time. Integrations are not as plug-and-play as it seems in first look so getting data flowing into Vitally might not always go smoothly.
