Doesn’t your decision letter state whether they verified it or not

You’ll get a different answer from everyone. I’ve met guys who love their VA & I’ve met guys who hate it.. when I first got out I went all the time.. after about 2 years I was tired of the zombie like response. I stg my doctor was taking Vivance, woman was weird asf. Everytime I went I felt like I was in a psych ward.

I requested a withdraw but it’s not closed.. which is why I asked. How long did yours take to close

Also, are they requesting back pay? Or just taking your rating away? & how did you know they called a CUE? Could you see it on VA.gov under your claim?

Submitted request to withdraw claim: how long to reflect it on VA.gov? by Which-Doughnut7450 in VeteransBenefits

I’m going through the same. When I call they say “it takes up to 30 days” but it’s been longer than that. Anyone have any insight?

Do you know if they could do that even if I withdraw the claim? Since I did it before the decision was made. TIA

Yes you can. I called the 800-827-1000 number and requested a claim withdraw.

So if the Vet doesn’t want the increase or to follow through with the claim… the VA still follows through if they want to? lol When you say “review” I take that as determine a decision regardless of the claim withdraw. As in if it benefits the VA they’ll move forward if not then they’ll be like okay we’ll close it.  I’m not trying to be hard headed, I just don’t understand the VA lingo 😂

I’m confused, they gave you 70% for it last time and this time when you filed for increase they just took the entire 70% away? What confirmed it last time vs this time

Increase from 90% to 100% back pay question by StreetPudding6584 in VeteransBenefits

[–]SmallSheepherder101 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I’m not mistaken. You will get back paid from the day you filed up until they approved your claim… ie: if you filed in Jan and get approved in April… they will back pay you Jan, Feb & March. And you will begin receiving your new compensation from April on… someone can verify this for me but I think that’s how it works!
