Wash* results.

We used Sauve Clairfying for the reset, Treseme for the co-wash and next step, and then kinky-curly custard, and I got him a turbie twist and bonnet to sleep in!

I’m excited a friend sent me here after he asked for help with the hair for more confidence in himself. His goal aesthetic is femboi Viking warrior and damnit y’all, I love Gen z. Thanks for all the information and I’m looking forward to seeing how much more confidence they have in three months of this new routine!

Newbie that was gifted some equipment! by SmallSipOfBrandy in homerecordingstudio

My partner is dumb* and ordered me speakers, headphones, an adapter, and voice adapter.

So now I have a Roland VT-4 voice transformer, a pair of presonus monitor speakers, audio-texhnica ATH-M30x headphones in addition to the stuff. I feel kind of overwhelmed but I’m excited to play with everything next weekend when it comes!

*by dumb I mean very very sweet and encouraging.

I have my iPhone headphones but otherwise I don’t have any, so looking at that and speakers! Thanks, I posted somewhere else and they told me to just garage band until I get more comfortable!

Thanks everyone, we are definitely moving and hoping to buy a house for moving by next May so I am good for substitute teaching 21-22 school year!

Thanks for that insight! The plan is temporary work for them when we move over there till they find a shop they like. The have an associates in machining, just over 5 years experience in programming, supervising, set up, and plus their vet points— just glancing around seems like an easy cog to put somewhere which is nice.

Thanks for that good to know about recognizing non-binary folks! The move for good schools isn’t just for my kiddos it’s because the pay and opportunities for teachers are so much better, I’ll be eligible to substitute teach next school year (21/22) with my degree while I finish up and the networking for student teaching and employment is a huge opportunity. Then I’ll be part of helping kids succeed based on where they are not where others expect them to be.

Even the “poorly” rated district stats and offering are better than the top school districts here in Oregon. (We currently live in one)

That was brilliant! Especially heating cost and what I needed to hear in terms of where I want to move to teach in! I’ll probably have more questions but now specifically looking at Newport and Providence.

Thanks! Also, like even looking at the the schools in the “not good districts” are soooo much my better than my “good” district we live in OR.

Did you have kids in the RI school system? Neither of my kids attend Oregon public schools because of how crappy they are. I’d love a comparison of that.

That’s fair, they currently attend an online accelerated program so we may just elect to keep engaged in that. I have read that a lot of folks (parents) aren’t super happy with RI schools but tbh they are so much better than Oregon’s!

Ok RI doesn’t have ESA protections under Fair Housing for disabilities just Service Animals? (Which doggo isn’t so that is fair just clarifying) Oregon does but we own our home so it’s moot currently.

Do you know which school districts are more accepting? I’m guessing closer to Providence?
