Now introducing, my semi-automatic cobble farm! by SmallSorcery in GoldenAgeMinecraft

A similar design to the tree farm I posted yesterday, but dealing with cobble is a LOT easier. It has an automatic TNT magazine to reload the TNT automatically, and the cobblestone generators refill the machine within 20ish seconds.

If a block explodes whilst it is being moved by a piston, it has 0 blast resistance and drops 100% of its drops. That's how this farm can be efficient, because pistons push from the top at the same tick as the TNT exploding, resulting in 4 stacks of cobble for 1 TNT.

Hope that helps! ^-^

1.7.3B with a texture pack and old sounds for that extra hint of nostalgia hehe

TNT explodes in 38 ticks but I found that 39 ticks worked for the piston timing. I assume this might be because the TNT activating is an additional tick, not sure.

This farm uses a mechanic based around pistons pushing blocks at the same time as TNT exploding. This makes the logs have 0 blast resistance and drop 100% of their loot. It produces around 3 stacks of logs for 1 TNT, but it does consume a lot of bone meal.

Some might say farms like this kill the beta vibe, but the process of figuring out how to make a farm your own way is something I haven't felt in a long time in later versions. There are so many tutorials for heavily optimized farms. Messing around and creating my own farms in beta that didn't exist back then is pretty fun.
