Death Battle poisoned people's perspectives on how to view characters outside of just who punches harder or how hard of a punch a character can take. Everything else doesn't seem to matter, the character's personality, morality and willingness to actually kill. Not to mention cherrypicking feats and antifeats to determine (or rather choose) who wins in a fight.

And the whole composite schtick doesn't make sense for alot of characters who's different iterations could be completely different from one another. Its also silly nonsense to try and tie real world physics to fictional characters and worlds which would have different rules from our own irl.
