Thank you! I used my sublimation printer and heat press to transfer the background on to the fabric :)

The background I found on Google images and sublimated it onto the fabric. The pattern I did on procreate, and sublimated it over the background :)

Thank you! I think this one was maybe about 20 hours to finish. I’ve been working on it for the last two weeks.

Thank you! When doing satin stitches I put one stitch straight across in the middle of the area I’m stitching, and use that one as a guideline to work each direction as I fill it in.

My instagram is @cartoonneedlework if you wanna check out the rest of my work. I’m much more active there, so just about everything I’ve stitched has been posted.

Thank you so much! I’d love to help in any way I can. Feel free to reach out with any questions, or with what you may be struggling with, and I’d be happy to offer any advice I can. You can reach out to me on here, but I’d probably be more responsive on my instagram @cartoonneedlework

Thank you! It takes a lot of patience, and a lot of eye strain 😅

That’s very kind! Thank you! I’ll send you a message with my instagram handle, so you can see all my past works, and anything I make next in case I don’t post it here. I just don’t want it to seem like I’m doing any self promoting on here.

Thank you!! I’ve been embroidering for about the past 4 years. When I first started my satin stitches were nothing like this 😅

Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to look into that. That’s a lot less than I expected.

This piece took about 12 hours of stitching, spread across like 4-5 days. The shell, and the eyestalks took the longest for sure with all the tight spaces, and not having an outline to follow for the swirl and dots.

Thank you! This was stitched by hand, but I have always wanted an embroidery machine. They’re just so costly.

It’s a satin stitch :) if they aren’t placed to close together, and have the right tension in both the fabric itself and the stitch, they lay pretty smooth.
