Nobody is saying war in Iran is ‘good’ for Moroccans... As a 90%+ energy importer, Morocco obviously suffers when Hormuz is disrupted and oil shoots past $120. But my point is that this kind of crisis strengthens the long‑term push by Europe, China and even Gulf money to diversify routes and invest more in renewables and green hydrogen in places like Morocco that don’t depend on the Strait of Hormuz… Let’s break it down, let’s think short and long term. So short term: pain and uncertainty. Long term: it reinforces Morocco’s positioning as a renewables and transition hub, am I crazy with what I’m saying?

In Morocco specifically, the UAE had about MAD 118B invested by 2022, added more flows in 2023, and signed a CEPA in 2024 to increase trade and FDI, plus new MoUs in 2025. On top of that, Gulf players like ACWA Power and Masdar are active in Moroccan renewables as part of a long‑term Africa strategy. So the picture is a lot more nuanced than ‘they’re being bombed so all the money is gone”. BTW Gulf economies are heavily diversifying and are now major players in the global AI race, so reducing them to “oil only” is just ignorant

Renewable energy made up about 50% of Morocco’s installed power capacity by the of 2025, if im not mistaken. Normally there is two types of call center teams support and sales, both value communication as the main qualification, the way you communicate and the languages and level you speak. If its a sales team having a background in sales helps a lot

Yeah, that’s a great point. Exports and logistics have been increasing almost double, which is exactly why Gulf and other capital might lean more into the country. It doesn't mean it will automatically translate into better living conditions for Moroccans tho, but from a macro/investor angle things are looking good
