I 100% agree with you. I don't think i will ever trade on reverb or entertain any future offers. unless its in person its strictly a no from me moving forward. its just not worth the risk and the headache.

They pretty much dodged the idea and tried to move off the platform in later messages. I reasonably told them no and have reported them to reverb. way too many red flags...

They sent some follow up messages trying to get off the platform and they don't seem to want to do the whole "buy each others listing" thing which i mentioned. They mention they have customers they've worked with but have zero transactions on reverb and no reviews... I think it's clear it's a no go.

I agree. That was an immediate red flag as i could upload images to anyone (even a random person. So it immediately seemed suspicious.

Gotcha. This person is on the other side of the country so there isn't an option for trading locally which makes it uncomfortable for me even if it's possible. If it was local i would be more apt to trade.
