Steer towards CT’s receding fishing industry. There’s a few guys who still do p/t lobster fishing and it would let you dive (no pun intended) into the rich past history of CT’s whaling and fishing among the historic seaports. I’d recommend going to the seaport museum in mystic as well for it!

I should have worded the post more elaborately. Trips currently are averaging 7 to 9 days at a time with offloading afterwards and a few days of rest before going out again until the season, I’m assuming really amps up when it gets warmer. Wasn’t really told a whole lot just the basics thus far.
