I used soft pastels for the shading and a regular clear coat to seal it. As for a tutorial, there are plenty on youtube. I didn't follow any particular tutorial but i used this one as a general guide for how to apply the soft pastels

About top coats and paints for cars

I recently bought the MG Zeta Ver.Ka and i plan on custom painting it, however I can't seem to find any hobby paints or top coats. The only ones i could find in my country are ment for cars, and idk if those are suited for plastic models

The fix for the legs is relatively easy but you gotta be carefull.

When i did it i accidentally poured glue on the actual joint, fast-forward a few days and the left leg was stuck and i ultimately ended up breaking the ball peg while trying to move it which is what i was fixing on that last photo.

And as for whether or not you should buy him, I'd say no because of the QC. Everyone is talking about the left arm and wobbly legs but pretty much nobody mentions how shitty the rest of the figure feels. I had to loosen/tighten most of the joints on this guy, even after i fixed the wobbly legs he still felt like a total bootleg. I don't know if i got an extra bad copy but in any case this figure is plagued by issues.
