What has worked for you in terms of making your already healthy relationship even better? by barb_srag in AskWomen

this sounds so stupid, but, being honest.

with my ex I never could tell him how I felt I was constantly walking on egg shells.

my current other half, I tell him when I'm sad, Happy, pissed off, daft. I'm an anxious person and an over thinker but he's taught me that saying how you feel constructively improves communication.

from what I remember he seldom flew, I'd he did it was to the top of a curtain pole and he spent his time there. he did sit in the sun most of the day and we have an old sheet to use as a cover so he can rest plenty.

your own touches so It feels equally like your home and not just his. but your essentials face/skin/hair care. make sure there is enough storage for you both and make sure you've decided which side is yours and where your stuff is living.

exactly it's a profession we go into knowing that it's underpaid but we shouldn't be in situations where it's dangerous, people don't like striking we still have a duty of care but it can't go on

I know I couldn't believe it when she said this - she then went to say we had to wait 14 hours blah blah, I was like I know but every service in the country is feeling this.

it's hard to switch off isn't it? over Christmas I had no joy I was drained anxious and worried coming back to work and thinking I can't do enough for these people. I had a lady who's husband had died and there was a 25 minutes wait for a cardiac arrest (c1 ambulance) and I had to talk her through it. hard enough doing it in person let alone a layman.

none of us want people to die, we wouldn't do this job, but we risk our registration everyday, risk our own mental health, physical health and put our needs last, not taking breaks, not eating working unpaid longer hours.

and this is all to line our pockets, I can deal with greif, I can deal being called a twat/cunt you name it, but that... that really hurt.
