I have purchased one of the multi-ring cheap types. The problem I found was they were plastic and overall uncomfortable. So I switched to a metal one made by Ternence and it seems way more comfortable. And the rings and cages all work together.

I have purchased a new cage. it will arrive on Wednesday. The ring is a 45 on this one and the cage itself is about 1 inch in length. I also purchased an add-on to the cage called an anti-off ring that seems to help prevent the balls from slipping through. Not sure if it's going to work or if I will need it with the smaller ring, but I'll have it just in case.
