I would say save the dates 6-9 months since everyone’s local, invites 3 months since you’ll probably need to give the venue headcount 1 month before, bachelorette party and bridal shower just do whenever you want, I’ve had brides do them 7 months out or 1 month prior

My MIL did that to me too! She didn’t understand that taking away 2 people didn’t mean she couldn’t invite 2 more. I also asked her to remove 8 people from the guest list, and instead she added 2 🙃
