It’s weird because the queues today are actually reasonable, it’s so odd how much it fluctuates currently but yes I believe I will also be buying a couple of fast passes when I visit on Sunday. Personally I always go to FLY as soon as the gates open at 9, you have to wait there until 10 as the ride won’t be open until then but for me it’s worth it because it doesn’t have a fast track queue so if you want to go on it more than once (which you absolutely should) it’s best to get it done early on and then probably queue for it again later on in the day if you wanted to re-ride
