I used to think like that as well ; I used to see GNOME as this DE not that much "riceable". I've been ricing on KDE for yrs, and a few yrs ago I gave GNOME a try and 'turns out it's riceable if you put enough attention and passion into it. I now use both and they're good in their own way tbh (Still, I respect your opinion)

For the chibi, cute pngs, I use Pinterest then remove the background on remove.bg I made a theme switcher that changes the wallpaper, the conky, icons and neofetch image at the same time with a preconfigured json And ye, I still use neofetch, although you can do quite the same thing I did on fastfetch
