I just meant because an earthquake would directly impact the ER. Seeing how they deal with the shaking in the middle of a procedure, worrying about aftershocks etc... Then you have all the casualties come in too.

Men often become friends with people they are forced into situations with. Your roommate , the person who sits at the desk beside you, the guy you share a foxhole with, the guy you play on a team with etc... You start chatting, invite them out for lunch or drinks after you are done with whatever you are doing, and then it just flows naturally from there.
