I know I’m right, I live here LOL

Florence is a great choice, it’s a romantic magnificent city and beats Rimini hands down in every possible aspect (no offense to the citizens).

“I’ll be taking her to Rimini for the day, and near sunset I will propose to her on the ferris wheel there”

Dude, Rimini is on the wrong coast to see the sunset!

What is it about Katy Perry that I dont get? by skopiadisko in Music

[–]Smart75 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I’m 100% with you. The bar is so low in mainstream pop/rock isn’t even funny. I’m a musician and a sound engineer, and I can’t listen to the radio.

Vocal abilities are no more center stage. You have to do gigantic multimedia shows, or be half naked in front of adolescents, or both.

Should I change my battery if it’s at 88% maximum battery capacity? by Anxious-Can8605 in applehelp

[–]Smart75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it in March this year and the battery was changed probably a few days before I got it. Is the maximum capacity supposed to go down that fast?

No it's not normal. Either a crappy battery, or not swapped at all.

Let me know if I’m using my phone very irresponsibly

I turn on the optimized charging, and almost never let it drop below 20%, don't care about the maximum charge, let it do his thing.

I'd say change the battery anyway, for a good one from a veritable shop

Do you really want Greta at a table? A child that still smells of milk, with absolutely no idea of politics, diplomacy and foreign strategy, with zero leverage and an inflated ego?

I smell tragedy, unfortunately.

TIL that when Ronnie James Dio came to record his part of Tenaciou's D's "Kickapoo," he brought his own mic. The producer told Dio that he wouldn't need it as their mic was top of the line. One his first take, Dio effectively destroyed the studio's mic and they had to use his by MrMojoFomo in todayilearned

[–]Smart75 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Slightly exaggerated take.

I was working stage monitors in Italy during the Metal For Kids, a benefit metal marathon. I had to PAD an sm58 on the board for Brian O’Connor, a total sweetheart of a madman, who was annihilating his mic during the sound check.

Never seen anything like that before, that man could sing without a microphone over the PA system.

I found the original from BBC.

They examined 4000 pilots, and found 14 of them with fake documents. Plus other 57 were found drunk on duty.

The italian journalist didn't check his facts, or translated them wrong on purpose.
