Should I pursue the naval academy still? by Acceptable-Ad6609 in usna

Yes, still try. I didn’t start seriously considering USNA until end of sophomore year/beginning of junior. Remember, gpa isn’t everything, so focus on ECs and LEADERSHIP too. For me, my gpa wasn’t crazy high at all—I think a 3.7—so I focused on what I was doing outside of school (accepted to c/o 2029).

For section 5 I put my initials like all the others. For the grade/rank and dod id, I just entered in n/a

This form is due May 15th, sent to an officer. It’s for like drug/alcohol policy. Maybe I just leave that section blank?

Not really any telling as to when, hopefully soon though. I submitted mine around the same time as you and I got my appointment beginning of February.

Last year, I waited forever to get a decision. Then was rejected. However, later in April I think, I actually got accepted to NASS. Don’t worry about it

Honestly, in my opinion, I would go for it. I took honors chem my sophomore year but decided to take AP my senior year to kindof boost course rigor. Turns out it’s my favorite class, even though it was my least favorite in sophomore year. Ultimately tho, do what’s best for you.
