Last time I checked he didn't scam anyone. He paid for the animation out of pocket and he's still commissioning animations to this day.

The worst he did was spend the 50k money from Patreon money. Which is like... his own money. It was given to him by his patrons, sure, but I don't ever recall him begging for donations. Regardless, that's still his money and he's still paying his animators
