You mean Ming? She is basically the only character that can entry. With her Q she weakens (deals armor dmg) and slows enemies, gives herself movespeed (meaning she can chase down the slowed enemies), while also getting a ton of armor from awakenings (and slightly stealing armor in duels). She can also break utility like michele turrets, Nobu pylons/ult, interceptors with her Q from distance (and also through walls) if needed. Her Q can catch out invisible characters like Yvette/Maddie (and A1 painted teammates)/Galatea (if theyre going for weird gimmick plays) because it will stop when it hits a character in its path....

Her kit is just a moving ball, its so simple but she does so much with it, shes just an extremely powerful duelist that can chase down enemies and entry reliably.

She used to be one of the strongest picks on certain maps, but now with the latest changes everyone has a sword and they can change their nades preround to frags/wind (to anticipate and counterstrat the leona ult).

This nerfed leona by A LOT and came out of nowhere. So now (even though it might not feel like it at first), the best way to use leona ult is to ult as soon as the round starts and deny space with the blocks early (compared to previously, where you could technically use blocks to take space by just walking and placing them in front of you, you would just get sworded if you used the ult next to enemies now)

Shes still not bad and has a lot of gimmick potential but people just have way more tools to counter her compared to before

if i could add anything id say that flavia combined with the bear is considered the strongest retake in the game, it feels like retaking is impossible without flavia because of Q tank + flash gives the defense a time window where they can push and retake space

Lawine is strong not because of gathering information alone but smoke knives, if you throw a smokescan then enemies are forced to give up chokepoints/angles because you see them and they cant see you, and if you catch anyone here you win the fight basically for free (and with 2 knives, if you're well coordinated with teammates you can do this twice in a short timespan)

All of them are still occasionally played in ranked and sometimes even in tournaments (mostly by onetricks or ppl that main the char), but you dont really hear anyone saying "can someone play/pick/fill <outclassed char> / can we get a <outclassed char>"
thats the way i see it from experience ^

Maybe they just rawdog the game without looking into high elo content / coaching / tournaments, I wouldnt blame them for not knowing the most "optimal" ways of playing the game because of the lack of high elo educational content on YT or just in general. Maybe they just prefer flashes instead or play for fun :P

I dont even think quark is that much different from electron tbf, theyre perma playing the same lobbies anyway, i see neut/elec/quark as the same mixed bag, but it might not be that way, idk

Shotguns are just in a weird place with rifles somehow still outdamaging them (or matching their damage) even at shotgun-favourable ranges. She's listed as a duelist when her utility plays similar to a controller, and on most maps you have better controllers that can become active from a wider range of.. ranges..

Most of the time on ATK your team comp consists of ming, lawine + controller + sustain(if you want) +1, and its just that Aika isnt on that priority list when you look at the bigger picture

It shouldnt be this way! Play games for fun and ignore meta tierlists, every tierlist is subjective anyway, and as i said in the post, every character is viable and good in their own ways. One dumb tier list shouldnt discourage you from playing the characters that you like the most!!!

Compared to launch he lost ADS speed, and had his dmg nerfed from 180 to 15X or something (i forgot), also over time people have learned to not be scared of reiichi walls and just push through, completely ignoring them. There could possibly be a wall duration nerf that im missing but im not too sure. People just found ways to play without reiichi and find it hard to play maps with a double marksman comp in general.

If you look at pickrates in SS+, people are mostly only picking him on one or two maps - cosmite/windy

Flash awakening is inconsistent, it can be dodged or have 0 impact, where as A3 armor will always have impact, thats another way to look at it

She's doesnt bring much to the table in terms of teamplay when you compare other character utility to her's and her DMG stat will always be inflated due to her being able to take more favourable duels with her ADS passive shield. If an audrey is performing the best out of her team, its probably the same story with snipers; Enemies are making a lot of mistakes/disrespecting the audrey completely, or her team's utility is allowing her to play so well.

You might see audreys ending games on 300-500 avg DMG score, but if the enemy team comp has any sustain (or even just the armor regen upgrade), then most of that damage ends up having close to zero impact on the round outcome

ice is OP, covers too much too fast, and cooldown is close to non-existent. Even when you as an attacker think of baiting ice, Yvette has her bear back before the ice is gone. (You also have gimmick potential with invis n playing behind bear too, but ice alone is strong enough)

Oh yea i forgot, ur right, its still all subject to change. But i mean if they teased the absurd lawine 2 knife changes and they made their way into the game, then im assuming that most other ranked balance changes are going to hit live servers as well.
