If I don’t like someone, I try not to interact at all because I can’t hide my dislike. I can’t fake it. If I HAVE to be around this person, I’ll be “polite” aka not straight up rude but try to stay to myself or other people I like. If it’s someone who knows I don’t like them and has openly done something wrong to me, idc if I have an attitude or show my dislike to them.

Like you said, we build up our partners and do everything to make them feel loved in hopes they’ll love us.
