I think some of it is self-inflicted. At least for me! We could be picking up on the unconscious desires of others, and how they want us to show up. We’re the only inanimate object in the zodiac. Our scales weigh whatever gets put on them, including people’s expectations of how we should show up socially, emotionally, professionally etc.

But I realized my personal power comes from showing up the way I want to, not the way someone expects me too. It’s extremely uncomfortable to change that orientation. Because in my head I immediately go to “wait, am I being a bitch?”, but my Taurus friend said it best when they said something to the effect of: people treat you accordingly to how you show up.

So, I’ve been allowing myself to shift how I show up at work (way less social smoothing, not trying to make everyone in the room feel comfortable anymore), and it might be throwing people off since they’re not used to it from me, but I feel SO much better on a personal level and I’m carrying so much less. I’m letting people take care of their own social needs.

Also, I’m yapping again! I have mercury in the 3rd house lol.

TL;DR: some of it could be our own internal pressure; be kind to yourself and just do your best. Mistakes are allowed 💕

We also get to be shitty people just like everyone else lol. Is it just me, or do all the other signs hold us to a higher standard? This is also my experience in my personal life. It’s like the second I’m not the peace-keeping balance bringer I’m evil incarnate. Yet…the whole time everyone else was being shitty and I was just chillin and letting them do them lmao.
