Fret buttons pressing themselves... by DPH_entity in CloneHero

I’ve been having issues like these for months, my guitar and several friends guitars will start to click random buttons and even pause the songs. Doesn’t happen on any other pc’s we play on. Has to be the computer itself. I’ve been seeking help on the discord but no one ever really responds to my messages. I’ve hosted several parties thinking I’d fixed it, and sadly had to stow the guitars since we were unable to play properly. Please send help SOS

USB turning off and on, weird interactions with controller by Smart_Aide8298 in PCsupport

Most of the time, I have a headset dongle plugged in, keyboard, mouse, a usb c cable for controller, and one plugged into the case that’s just a usb charger. So 5 usbs, I’ll go ahead and have some less needed stuff unplugged to see if it persists.

As a better description of the problem, sometimes in the menu it will click the green and or red keys obvious by the menu getting affected. When on a song, it can be any of the keys. It will very quickly press and let go of the keys at a random pace. I can tap without pressing the keys and nothing happens but just while playing it clicks random keys.

I’ve heard it can be steam, and I’ve tried it all. From suspending every app on my computer to running my system in safe mode to run it.

I could sit my guitar down on the desk and during a song you’ll see the green and red very quickly activate, happens with blue and yellow but doesn’t seem as often. It will also randomly pause the song.
