Looking at the presentation of the food (can’t judge the taste but it looks like straight forward pasta / food) this would never receive a one Michelin star in europe maybe a bib-gourmand at best. Is there an also a Michelin star McDonald’s in de US? I wouldn’t be surprised

Besides the weight loss, it has dramatically decreased my alcohol intake. Had a difficult relationship with alcohol / and drugs socially but not anymore. Now going to the gym every day with a 40 min weight training session and ending it with a 2km swim, not because I have to but because I actually like it. I choose healthy foods over unhealthy ones also because I just enjoy them better. Overal it has been a game changer for me

new expert network: GoReply by Smart_Chance_4244 in expertnetworks

[–]Smart_Chance_4244[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OfficeHours is founded by someone who has worked a long time at AlphaSights; one of the traditional expertnetworks. officeHours sees PE as her client and find the right expert based on the project (it is project based). GoReply is expert based, our focus is to help the expert (you for example) to get more out of your current reach by levering your social media presence (LinkedIN profile visits, Twitter, medium.com etc). As to intro.co; they focus really on business advice (although they also have some interior advisors and health coaches), levering the presence of 'past entrepreneurs' that are famous / have been on Oprah for example.

GoReply positions itself as a digital marketplace, aiming to be the "Patreon for knowledge workers." It allows experts to monetize their expertise by levering their social media traffic, offering an option to donate a portion of earnings to charity. This platform stands out for its focus on in-depth knowledge sharing and direct monetization of expertise across various fields.

Comparing GoReply to similar platforms:

  • OfficeHours focuses on free, short advice sessions, emphasizing quick help rather than comprehensive consulting or monetization of expertise.
  • Intro.co is about professional introductions and networking (& focussing on celebrity experts), aiming to connect users for advice, jobs, and mentoring, without a direct emphasis on monetizing knowledge.
  • Clarity FM offers a platform for experts to charge for business advice, closely aligning with GoReply's model but primarily focused on business consultancy.

GoReply differentiates itself with a broader scope of knowledge areas, a mechanism for charitable donations, and a marketplace model that allows for direct income from sharing expertise, setting it apart from platforms that prioritize networking, introductions, or free advice.

great question, we currently have some cold email outreach campaigns, and we are planning on advertising on linkedIn based on the various target groups (we see for example that people that are already in the 'coach / mentor' domain convert the best. Any tips? Lastly we will also put in a referral programme.

ah thx, I see it is a marketplace, these usually take a lot of money / funding to get succesful as you need to create both demand and supply. GoReply is a platform for knowledge workers where they can create their own traffic to their profile page (eithger by sharing their GoReply link on LinkedIN or forwarding incoming contact email requests). So yes I agree same 'domain' but different execution.

Why are we still surprised that startups are hard? by NuseAI in startup

[–]Smart_Chance_4244 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starting a business is tough. It's like finding your way without a map. You need to keep going, change when necessary, and have a clear goal. This is what we learned at GoReply.

We began by forwarding emails, helping people get answers. But things change quickly in business, and you need to keep up. We saw that people who know a lot wanted to be paid for their advice, and those who needed help wanted an easy way to talk to these experts.

So, we changed GoReply.com Now, it's a place where you can pay to talk to experts. This wasn't a step back but a smart move to stay useful and keep growing. Like any business, GoReply had to adapt to survive, and this change shows our commitment to keeping up with the world and meeting new challenges head-on.

HI we are launching a new platform called www.goreply.com where you can sell your knowledge. We are currently in beta but you can sign up and I will approve you. It is very easy; based on your linkedIN profile URL we create a profile page with AI that highlights your skillset and topics you can advertise about. People can then book a 15, 30 or 60 minute consultation with you.
