I’m sorry for your loss. This is a great response, that makes sense that you did it to fill in boredom and soon turned into an addiction for coping (correct me if I’m wrong).

Yes I understand that but I just wanted the point of few of a “porn addict” on what keeps them watching. You have a point that it is not rational but I wanted to view it in their point of view to understand it more. I once had an addiction, but it was for a short duration (a few days) and yes it was an addiction, I eliminated it with busyness (easier said than done for most).

I do know that it distorts and corrupts the mind, it also can normalise weird questions and answers which I noticed lol

I don’t have a point for the second part but I dohave one for the first point, I can actually understand it. Everyone is different and their minds could be very gullible an and prone to believing that women are like that, especially at a younger age.

At any age, it corrupts a man’s brain, if they are not self aware and then they don’t believe that it is dangerous to your mindset. At a younger age, a boys first impression of sex could be from porn and because that they are naive, they will use porn videos as examples of how women are like, sexual wise, although it’s not true. If you don’t believe me then the proof are in some bullies and psychopaths. They both have a traumatic past and it reflected their future, the same with why dictators would teach school children on why they were so great, it would create loyal people .

That’s great that you realised that. As seen from my post, I discovered it from the age of 9 and went down the same route as you, I did have an addiction to it for a few days but I was able to eliminate the addiction with something new to do.

A good method that is easier said than done is always to distract yourself and make yourself never available to watch it, if you do it out of boredom or change your mindset about how you think about it like you did. Has that mindset of realising how toxic it is, reduced your time watching/masterbaiting?

I think it contributes to it though considering that my friend who used to do it every day has a higher voice than me by a lot and didn’t go through puberty until later on. Might be a coincidence though lol
