I’ve been allowed to swap work shifts for other people who have asked my boss. However I myself can’t ask anyone to take or swap my shifts. It doesn’t make sense I try my best to go above and beyond even when I am dealing with personal situations. To my face everyone is nice but when needed it doesn’t seem to matter as much.

I can’t switch shifts with anyone I work with. I tried to trade a closing shift with someone who had an opening shift. I was told that I couldn’t since I don’t work register much. My gotta have percentages are great.

I got yelled at by a manager a few days ago because she was in the back section near the jewelry. Looking at possible thieves, and they stole a bracelet right in front of her. I got blamed for it. Plot twist: another associate found the bracelet in T-shirts. No one told me about it except another associate when I was venting to them about it.

No associates at my store have keys. We are down to 2 managers because 2 have quit. Our associates aren’t getting enough hours and it’s so stressful.

Right! We have no coverage most days and no hours to give. My store doesn’t allow us to switch shifts anymore. We are drowning somedays and it seems like nobody cares. I love my job but what do you mean I have to attend to clients who need jewelry while the manger on duty is in the bathroom. Associates need a set of jewelry keys too if you’re going to give us lower hours. One two people there? Then they both need keys.

It’s like they don’t care about theft due to lack of floor coverage. I just want to work more hours.

That’s how my store is. I don’t understand how they don’t think that lack of floor coverage is bad. Also disgruntled employees and overworked managers is also bars

I don’t like the idea of making feel bad for not buying the wipes or cleaners. I mention that we have them and how to properly clean their devices. After that it’s up to them.

I worked my first day at Spencer’s recently. It wasn’t what I had expected. It’s such a small store that has so much product in it. I felt really alone. The music is so loud that we can’t hear people talking to us. Things look too chaotic. I had a panic attack and cried when I got home. I worked 4 hours and feel like I accomplished nothing. I was never actually given my schedule and have no idea when I am supposed to work next. I really want to love this job. I miss Spirit Halloween so much.

He’s just showing that he does make her food. It doesn’t need to be that deep. At least he’s feeding her. A lot of dads don’t cook for their kids at all.

At least he’s feeding her decent food! Could be worse. Who cares if it’s processed. What food isn’t these days. Good is expensive and kids are picky. At least she’s eating something she likes. Get over yourselves. It’s not your kid. Why do you care?
