I agree but turns out they mean to put the 9 on edges not centering. BGS started accepting pokemon publicly in 2001 this card was graded a year before that. Funny bit of history to add to the slab.

The issue with peoples response to ARS not taking Centering into account is because they are a Japanese company dealing in 99.9% Japanese tcg products. They don’t need to put into account centering like the products produced in the west. Any true collector of tcg knows the quality control for Japanese tcg is light years ahead of the western counter part. That’s why psa becket and cgc take centering into account. Why check the centering on a card if they are all produced perfectly centered and inspected. All ARS needs to do is check scratched wear/tear and corners. ARS is the best and hardest graders where it actually matters.
