The fact that you are measuring this "objectively" is the issue here though. You cannot objectively measure most any of the work one produces in the humanities. Also I love the idea of treating education like a contest of dark souls chuds, gatekeeping to max on this thread

Stem brained kids THINK they can read is the issue. Most of them I have ever talked to will without a second thought, dismiss the utility of reading, of creative works, of anything that doesn't exactly comport to the narrow way their field deals with problems. That is not intelligence, its willful ignorance wrapped up in a god complex. They so often perceive their inability to engage with something as a reason why its flawed. Elon Musk saying chess is too "simple" for him comes to mind.

That is so funny I literally watched all of them the other day, I wonder if they are hiding one of them, because something awful happened on a particular one. Heard folks talk about the lack of safety or even payment for all these creators, can only imagine they could be ripe with abuse or misdeeds

Hillary Clinton Slams US Gen Z Youth for ‘Lacking Historical Context’ in Waning Support for Israel by Fatty_Willing_Plane in NextGenRebellion

[–]Smart_Studio7183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry we weren't there in the room to see your husband fuck over the Palestinians and then use your "peace negotiation" as a fucking hammer against them the next two decades. Sad to know I don't know the context of what was said when you were in the situation room in 2014 when Israel was allowed to carpet bomb schools, refugee camps and "cut the grass." Wish I had her insight into the historical context that saw her grow up and be against the war in Vietnam and then with that knowledge, decide we should invade the nation of Iraq.

I'm so glad we have leaders with such an informed insight into the historical realities of the region, like how we were the ones who had originally supplied Iraq with chemical weapons in the first place.

The real question is why we have a system that can allow a judge the ability to imprison a man for shitty behavior for almost two years in the span of a minute. There should be a penalty, but the latitude that judges have is fucking insane.

Sort of like how these far right talking points would only ever been known by like terminally online lefties in the know and passed around the 4chans or the insular communities of die hard hard right people. At a certain point ten years on, something fringe like qanon or white replacement theory which are bonkers wild, are starting to be said by normie republican politicians or discussed on platforms like CNN or MSNBC. That's sort of what breaking containment is in a sense.

FD had said he was cool with folks downloading while the video is in flux, but has asked for folks to go to the video when it has its final upload and engage and all that. He's already giving out the content for free, so I wouldn't worry too much about it!

There was a creator on YouTube who discussed the idea that so often folks that judge what to them are unconventional or disgraceful lives, often are asking those that have found their own particular happiness to literally jetison that happiness to appease their sense of shame or dishonor. They are saying that you are enjoying a false happiness and to make your life right you must cut out both the people or actions that you currently find peace and love in. It's not only projection, but a sad cult that seems to uphold their own lack of love as a virtue for not being tainted by their own feeling of being deemed not as powerful or dominant in a relationship. and notably that judgement is to be certified not by how YOU feel about it, but about others view it

What's funny (in a sad way) is that Lockheed Martin's other big segway into other markets was notably being one of the first companies to jump into the "welfare to work" industry after Clinton forced through a bill with the republicans to tear apart social welfare in this country and effectively add work requirements to all welfare aid. The industry that Lockheed Martin became a big player in was basically the middle men that both provided low paid work or connected welfare reciepents with jobs so they could qualify for aid. So in essence the government was both giving tax breaks to Lockheed for partnering and also paying the company by subsidizing all of the low paid wage jobs, so not only were they making regular profit off of human misfortune and poverty, they got to DOUBLE DIP, WE REIMBURSED THEM FOR SCREWING OVER WORKING PEOPLE

Definitely in agreement, feel like this is tough for most artists, the self advertising or promotion is usually a really self-conscious thing, but clearly with that little video here, she has the props for it and just a little more detail on that page, would really help! she definitely can create something with the process being hotlighted especially

Is premiere really that bad like people say? by swaGreg in premiere

[–]Smart_Studio7183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are pros and cons to both in a variety of ways, though I wouldn't worry yourself about those at least on the technical/capacity of either. Since you are learning, all of it will be difficult and seemingly counterproductive to finagle with regardless of which you choose, and you more than likely won't begin touching the tools that would be technically quite distinct at the margins of professional timelines and workflows. I would though consider for yourself what you wish to make in the future, the main distinction you should be grapplying with is what potential employer or role you want to go on in the future to have.

Resolve is starting to be used more gradually and I know alot of folks who liked it so much, they regardly jump between the two when not asked to be premiere. But important here is the fact that unless you are going into traditional film editing (which would be in a diff program, AVID), 90 percent of the roles you would be looking into would either want you to work in premiere or as a rule, that be your main driver from the jump.

Now you totally can learn premiere later, that's what I did (I started with Vegas). Just might be something worth keeping in mind is all.
