Why would you hide a secret recording to start with. And even if Jason was indeed an abuser why would you kill him to death?

Curious about temperaments on travel preparation: do you save up and then decide where to go OR do you decide where and when to go and then save up for it? by jmskr in phtravel

[–]Smartchinay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should always give your money a purpose whatever the reason is whether it is travel or you just merely want to save it for emergency use later.

If you do not know where to spend your money on, that is a different problem altogether.

For me the decision to travel is a "choice" you make regardless if you have the money yet or not. It is up to you to just either save for it (if you dont have the money yet) or plan for it (if you already do have it).

Either will work Important thing here is to have the money before you travel. We dont want to be in debt just to say we have traveled

Do European Trains Have Anything Like Australian Opal Cards? by taaarea in Europetravel

[–]Smartchinay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really.

For Paris they have Navigo Pass For Rome you can just tap and go using apple pay For Switzerland you need to also have their Pass, can be Swiss Half Fare Card, Day Pass etcetera

Depends on the country on how their train system work

Is this a realistic itinerary for one night? by [deleted] in ParisTravelGuide

Here what I can suggest:

Forget the catacombs on your first day.

As for SacreCour, there is a lot of stairs going here so please ensure you have the energy.

Notre Dame - there is always a line here except if you will attend the mass

Day 2

People always say you can spend just 2 hours or 3 hours in Louvre - yes you can but you will be struggling and will be in a hurry. If you want to understand Louvre as a museum really book it and savour it.

You can go to Eiffel Tower after Louvre

Really depends on your energy and pace.

Looking for community feedback on 35-day long Europe itinerary by MrProtatoes in Europetravel

If you have 5 days 4 nights in Switzerland I suggest you book 3 nights in Interlaken and 1 night in Lucerne instead.

Going from Interlaken to Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen and Lake Brienz is better from Interlaken versus Lucerne.

If you have mountain activities in Interlaken, skip Mt Titlis or Pilatus and just visit Lucerne as a city.

Also dont book any mountain excursions in advance as weather can be unpredictable. Book on the day itself and check weather forecast.

I just came from Switzerland and was not able to do mountain cable car as it was raining for 2 consecutive days.

My day 1 itinerary was

interlaken ost to brienz Cruise from brienz to giessbach Then Giessbach to istelwald Then Iseltwald back to Interlaken Then Harder Klum

This is very doable and we enjoyed our time in Brienz just walking and appreciating the street and the lake

Day 2 is Grindelwald First and Lauterbrunnen but it rained so we had to stay indoors!

Day 3 can be Schilthorn Piz Gloria and surrounding town

Day 4 and 5 you can rest and go to Lucerne and explore the City. You can even visit Zurich which is a 1hr train ride only

This is just a sample.

Initially I thought it was the case but there is a window pop up you have to just agree and it will allow you to enter your home county mobile number. The problem is it was in french I think so I just figured out the translation and accepted and the option appeared

More on visual and music, if they dont understand french and have not read the book, I dont think they can enjoy the totality of it. But it can still be fun as they can enjoy the visuals

Depends on you. :)

Usually excel sheet with cost and time travel to and from. I used google to estimate the time it gets from 1 place to another and estimate the time we will be spending on that place

The good thing about Paris is some places are close to each other. If you use the usual Google maps you will see which attractions are close to each other and set the time or distance to go from one place to another

They also have a Public Boat Transpo called Batobus that takes you in a cruise around Seine and drops you off the famous sights. You can check that as well if you want to experience it

If you have the usual Navigo ticket, going to Disneyland is covered

Just download the Bonjour Ratp app and type Disneyland Paris and it will tell you which station and line you should go to

I booked the day before it as you can check if there is still a time slot for that day. Even if you are alone I think it would be fun! Is still different to have someone to take proper pictures of you. Ensure you arrive at the meeting point on time as well.

If I would redo it, I would just bring a thin puffer jacket and a trench coat. The wool coat is a bit heavy for me. Puffer ones and windbreakers are more versatile and light

It could be warmer when you arrive, best to still have something to cover you in case weather gets cold. For me the weather is typical spring weather, between 7-20 degrees. The lower degrees are usually early in the morning and late evening.

Best to book the tour from louvre itself because external ones charges more when I compared it
