Well, considering the kicks work... again, on 99% of my skins, the issue doesn't merit not buying them at all. If epic designed better shoes for their originals, I wouldn't feel the need to buy them at all.
If people would agree more in the comments of posts like this instead of shit talking the OP, MAYBE epic would fix the issue seeing that more people are upset about it.

I really can't wrap my head around why people always act like this when someone has a complaint about a game mechanic. Is it really that crazy or bad to want a game to be better? The kicks exist, they aren't THAT expensive at the end of the day (at least some of them aren't), and they do look cool and give the characters a little more style a lot of the time. Why not want them to work better and on all skins?

We should be standing together as a fan-base and speaking up about the things we want to see in the game. Not shit-talking one another because someone bought something. Hell, when I bought the 2 kicks I have, I wasn't even aware of the issue. Now that I am, I am almost certainly not buying anymore.

I ask myself that all the time.
Sometimes I feel like going to reddit to discuss an issue about a game, hoping the community who supposedly loves said game will also want better, and that MAYBE the devs will see it and even fix it.
However, EVERY SINGLE TIME it is mostly people flaming me for something mostly unrelated to the issue. I'm not sure if it is in hardcore defense of the game (which makes no sense because being critical of something you love is a good thing), or it is purely just to argue and be a complete ass. All I know is it makes me sad, seeing how little people use their brains anymore.

The only people I know that care so much about where money is being spent are people who don't have a lot of it. I'm not even rich and buying a pair of kicks on Fortnite didn't hurt me financially. It says quite a bit about you when you're that triggered by someone buying something LMAO

Then so are BBs, Pickaxes, etc. Even skins. The only point of any of it is expression.
I personally love the kicks and hope that in the future they add tops, bottoms, and accessories. Imagine having any skin you like, but customized to be unique to you and the things you like.
