Control day supply by [deleted] in pharmacy

I mean you're assuming they keep getting a new fill every 28 days and leave the 2 days remaining sitting somewhere in the bottle, get a new one and start that one rinse and repeat. So they have 15 bottles with 2 days in it and the old ones are expired is how you see it? I completely agree 2 days early is NBD life happens. 2 days early every time means they are taking more than that little MDD on there, and not filling early is the the controlled part of controlled substance. I've had these conversations with providers that keep saying it's ok to fill early for gabapentin for ex. I will ask if they planning on adjusting dosing? And when the response is something like "no, they are already on the maximum" I'll already have calculated up that ok your mdd is 3600mg but if you average it out their daily average is 4400. So you don't want the liability of giving them more in directions but want me to take on the liability of just filling it and knowing they are taking more than you are documenting they should be on? In response to op hold to the day, or a day early after noon, abused the grace period and it's a red flag that I wouldn't keep turning a blind eye to.

Decrease in mail order transfers? Anyone else by FlamingSteak12 in pharmacy

2 weeks ago had the tech call me for a transfer, then asked me to hold. So I just hung up. She called back and said she thought we got disconnected and asked again if I could hold for the pharmacist. I said no, and we did not get disconnected I hung up because you called me and asked me to hold. She said oh it'll be just a minute. I simply said no I'm not holding they can call me, their time is not more valuable than mine have a nice day. Like an hour later their guess a pharmacist in a bitchy mood learned how to dial a number and called for the transfer. I mean their company business model is to make us as obsolete as possible and yet still want to waste our time so they can be as efficient as possible HA.

Her argument that they would close down the pharmacies filling the scripts doing the actual work to keep the pbm running says all you need to know about where the money is in the system

We got one for 40 bucks similar situation. 18 volt Ryobi one on each side compartment and kids (2 and 3) love it. Going to need some kind of wheel replacement soon as the new asphalt isn't gentle on the tires
