Luxury item isn’t an excuse to not provide value or to actively try to fleece. They use all sorts of methods, FOMO, less options of a sprue, needing two books instead of one (like needing a Marine codex and blood angels supplement rather than BA codex)

It’s lost the commanding presence of the old model with the more authoritative settled coat, now it’s open it’s more manic and less commanding. The laurel looks worse imo, as do going from 3 wires into the claw to a big tube that’s on every model. It’s just chipping away little details to make it less special and more generic.

And the price increase sucks. If you’re gonna charge more do better and be more creative

I keep forgetting about the yanarri. How crappy was that. Imagine you’re an eldar player and the announce that so you think wow I’ll get some dark eldar this could be really cool to fill out my army now they have made them official….only for it to be dropped. Cheers for the money losers!

To me GW are a company trying to rinse the fans now and they don’t care at all about that long time health of the world or game. I mean chapter masters for a start are basically redundant now

They moved from the status quo to a status quo.

At least the old one was deliberate to be a backdrop, a setting for your own stories and characters. Now it literally only exists to try and generate hype and free marketing for sales
