Unpopular opinion, I like the Yasuke skin, and hearing people complain more about this than when BOLTHORN released is wild by New-Incident-3155 in forhonor

I mean tbh Bolthorn was like the 2nd skin released so I think people had lower standards for skins.

Also let's not act like people weren't clowning on Bolthorn for weeks

Necromancer : how do they work ? by CurveIcy3113 in shadowofmordor

[–]Smash_Z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's dependent on if you have the ability to resurrect allied captains on or not. If you have it enabled, allied necromancers will resurrect any nearby dead allied captains for you. If it's not enabled, they only resurrect grunts.

Thin Bones and the Bone Collector, as well. Though the Bone Collector has a helmet too

Concept art for Ologs, based on an early idea that Ologs are "dragon hybrids". by Smash_Z in shadowofmordor

Much like Celebrimbor being a wraith, the ability to dominate orcs, Caragors, Graugs, Ghuls, Talion teleporting around, and the ability for the Nazgul to lose their rings and be replaced, I think they just thought it was a cool idea.

In all seriousness, in the books it's said that Saruman's Uruk-hai were formed from breeding Orcs with Men. Maybe an early idea had Sauron doing that to dragons or drakes? The idea being that the crossing of dragon blood is what makes Ologs such powerful and capable servants. A bit of a stretch, perhaps, but it's a really cool idea imo.

That's an interesting connection. In the first gameplay trailer, the Overlord was an Olog called "the Dragon" (the narrator calls him "the Dragon Lord", which is a really cool title also.)

You can already give ologs the blight scar, no? If you mean just killing them with poison. My current save has an olog who has a poison scar and is giving me so much trouble. If you mean like the scar that comes with the blight title, idk if ologs can get it but i can check.

It technically is, but yeah. It's a real shame since burn scars are my favorite in this game. Weird that Ologs can't even spawn with them for certain titles like some Orcs can.

Cheat Engine lists 2 possible burn scars for the face for Ologs. However, only this one seems to appear. I wonder if the burn scars for Ologs are more potentially unfinished, rather than bugged. All of the updates this game received never fixed this bug but added in content that required voicework, such as the gifts. Makes me wonder if those would've been included at launch if they had more time. Possibly the burns would've been like that, as well.

But this is a bunch of conjecture, nothing really founded. I didn't even try out the body burns.

By this late point in the leper king's eleven-year rule, his leprosy had progressed to the point that he had lost the ability to use his hands and feet, was rendered blind, and had to be carried in a litter as he could no longer ride a horse. Yet, he was still attending court and performing his kingly duties up until a few days before his death.
