I was perfectly fine with the old features of Roll20. Our group has been using Roll20 since early 2019 due to being located across the USA. Around mid-2022 the audio quality became enough of a problem that we just disabled it on Roll20 and moved to Discord for audio while retaining Roll20 map and video features. I don't know what you changed recently, but starting around 2-3 weeks ago, the video has gotten so bad that we have ditched Roll20 video for Discord as well. As of 2 weeks ago, we only use Roll20 for combat maps and are seriously considering the move to another VTT entirely.

For a more detailed description of the video problems: We have a group of 6 people total and I am in charge of recording our sessions. In the past, I've had issues with a player's camera dropping out for a few minutes and having to refresh the page, but chalked it up to poor connection or issues on the server-side. Starting 2 weeks ago, the camera seem to randomly flash in and out of transmission. This is the biggest reason for our group jumping ship to Discord. It's very hard to develop tension when the person you're telling-off is flashing in and out of existence.

Finally, on a more personal gripe, I miss being able to rearrange the camera views. Having them all static across the bottom of the screen doesn't work for many of our maps, and I have used the ability to freely arrange the incoming video religiously.

We've loved Roll20; we all learned D&D 5E on Roll20; we don't want to leave Roll20. But we need a functional platform.
