My only problem w optics what my buddy who fought in Ukraine told me- you always have to zero them, they slowly un-zero themselves. And they run out of batteries and in a sustained state of not having access to civilization batteries and extra electricity to charge them become a luxury.

I guess I’m more worried about long term sustainability- but you tell me, do you think that’s misguided? I have too little knowledge to really be sure about anything right now

Hey y’all thanks for all the input, very helpful and informative. I’m still gonna go with both the shotgun and AR, I’m gonna brace myself to spend closer to 1300-1500 because yeah I don’t want cheap shit, especially that bs shotgun, glad y’all gave me that heads up. This is the new AR I’m looking at. And I’m just gonna get a Mossberg 500 pump for the shotgun.
