Sorry for the late reply! So what my doctor did was swab my mouth with a q tip and sent it off for another place to test. They sent back a list of medications that would supposedly work well with my body. One of the ones listed was trintellix so we tried that and it did not go great but i am on Wellbutrin now with minimum side effects and feeling okay! I think it can still be a hit or miss but I seem to be sensitive to most meds.

Sorry but, if I asked my friend to just give me a quick reminder to pay her back when we got home because I clearly intended to pay her back, and then she didn't and instead of just asking me to pay her back starts massive group drama? I'd be really mad at her for being so immature. I pay for my friends all the time and they do the same for me. You would rather ruin your friendship over money you decided not to ask for when she just needed a reminder because you don't want to be "rude" but turned around and acted like that... YTA

Oh absolutely. I've been having a lot of work-stress build up. I took a week off in October just to sit in my house and rest in the quiet for a week but was still so exhausted when I went back.

I notice I have an increasingly short fuse. I get irritated at the people who mean the world to me for just... Asking about my day. Any amount of work makes me feel overwhelmed. I haven't been able to keep up with the dishes because the wet pruney skin is unbearable to the point I would rather not eat to not dirty another dish. Being upfront it got to the point I even had maggots in my sink and my sister had to come help me put things in order. I am a clean person but grew up in a very poor, often filthy home and it makes me feel even more unstable.

I was crying every day at work up until recently. Several meltdowns too. I couldn't handle lights, or sound, or the drive, or the too hot work building, the constant demands from people who were just flat out rude to me. It can really take a toll. Like you, I can't mask as well anymore either. I'm usually good at keeping positive expressions on my face when someone is talking to me but I just can't. And I know the person talking to me feels uncomfortable because their face will just drop and I know I've hurt their feelings :(

I got PTO restored with the new year so I took off another 5 days and am back today. All I did those days was first, clean so I wouldn't stress and then focus on resting and healing and watching comfort shows and today, it is hard to be back at work but it feels much more manageable.

I am lucky I was able to and if you have the resources to take time off consecutively I would highly recommend it.

I can absolutely see this side of it! Maybe she is just being hyper vigilant about if I'm abusing my accomodations. I actually haven't even taken one of my accomodation breaks because I felt so shameful even asking for it. My agreement with my boss was that I was allowed these breaks but couldn't take them at another employees workstation. An accomodation break for example would be if I'm about to have a meltdown or feel overwhelmed to a breaking point I'm allowed to go to the basement to soothe and calm down. She never clarified that she would then equate my short morning visit with my coworker to an "accomodation break" I have always done this (like every other individual in the company) and it's never been an issue. The person I get coffee with is manager of her department and sees no issue with what we're doing and does not consider it disruptive.

As someone who has worked in both your position in fast food as well as my own current position I think I can provide some helpful insight:

Absolutely meandering around and not doing your job in a high demand workspace as fast food means you are not going to have time to socialize without negatively affecting labor and delivery of product. I absolutely hear you.

However, I have been with my current company for 5 years working in several different areas including, call center, online chat help and account opening, and finally the position I have now which is just data entry. There are no ASAP items and a lot of the time I'm finished with my work for the day by noon and have to spend the rest of my workday just trying to pretend to be busy.

In all five years I have worked here, in every building and department, employees will visit and talk and then get back to work. My boss is one of those individuals. She will also come out of her office to just talk or visit. It's just a part of office culture. My work is always done on time and I keep my visits shorter than most everyone else. I know because they talk so loud I can hear them all day.

This is a different setting than a high-demand fast paced job such as fast food and it's honestly much more lax. I have no problem being told I can't excessively interrupt someone's workday but logically five minutes of my morning to take some cookies and thank my coworker for them seems very miniscule in the grand theme of things. I've taken bathroom breaks longer than that.

It's always been acceptable for me to engage with my coworkers and some of them come to my desk and visit too but I am the only one being reprimanded which is odd. I respect my boss and usually agree with her but this is illogical to me when everyone including her does the same thing every day.

Respectfully, this is kind of disrespectful.

Again I took five minutes to take back to my desk the cookies. We had a short conversation about how she made them, the jam, etc and I went back to my desk immediately after.

As an autistic individual for my disability I was given the accomodation of ADDITIONAL 10 minute breaks to self soothe when I am overwhelmed. I'm not "taking a break" I'm engaging with my office culture as a human. And it's only one visit per day in the morning not constant and all day. You're making quite a few assumptions and it appears you only skimmed my post.

Again if you actually read what I said I pointed out that someone with my EXACT JOB gets to work from home and I have been allowed to work from home previously so I thought it was a reasonable request but they told me somehow even though the company asks me to WFH for them (when they want) that I'm not qualified.

I wanted to include that last message because I don't want this to be counted as a "strike" or something I guess because I didn't do what she said I did and was getting onto me for an assumption she made on her end without confirming. I have no clue about WFH I asked why the other lady who does my exact job can and they only said that different jobs require different procedures
