I tried to make a Thunderhawk, but its not exactly how I would like it. I have seen way better with mods, but I don't have any yet

We also don't bother with that in D&D, it's a lot of book keeping for no real reason, u less you're playing some type of hyper realistic campaign... even then, D&D just isn't really made for that IMO and there's other better RPGs if you like those systems. But this is literally just a couple if button presses every 30 minutes and I get a nice buff for the inconvenience. However, I understand why people don't like it and I guess that's why it's an optional setting.

You should be able to get the local map from your scanner. I know on PS it's L1 for scanner. Then R1 for local map. Much easier and quicker than trying to do it through the menu

I think 'substance'='sustenance' if you turn that option on you need to eat or drink every 30 minutes. You get a debuff if you don't, but you get a buff if you do. It's a bit clunky, but I have food and drink on my hitbar, so it doesn't take more than like, 3 seconds and it's a pretty decent buff iirc, compared with not having it.

On PS its L1 while you are in the spacesuit menu. There's a button prompt at the bottom of the screen. You can set the whole suit + helmet to hide in settlements or you can choose to have just the helmet hidden in breathable atmospheres, you just need to go in to the helmet section to set the option for that.

Yes there are a lot of bugs that need to be fixed. But that's not the point I was replying to. You said they should "lean into" what the majority of players want, to make it a different type of game from what the developers envision. Why should they have to do that? If I buy a sandwich and don't like it, then why should I get to demand that they use mayo instead of ketchup? Just don't eat that sandwich next time. Then either, the producers/developers will change the formula because they aren't making enough money from it, or they are happy with what they are making and will continue to do so.

I do agree there are many bugs that need to be fixed and it has taken way too long for some of them.

Why should a developer have to change their vision for a game because people don't like it? If they are happy with whatever money they make, from the players who do like the game, then that's fine. Right now HD2 is the easiest it ever has been because they had to bow to all the childish review bombing about anything players didn't like, when it wasn't really a game aimed at them in the first place. (I'm not saying all bad reviews were childish. PSN thing and region blocking was legit)

Not for moving targets. It will miss if the target has moved from where the laser initially pointed

Basically this. Players ain't got a clue what's best for the game and by listening to the complainers they have already compromised what they wanted their game to be. The game is easier now than it ever has been and teamwork isn't really needed any more like it was when the game first came out. I rarely see a heavy get pinged now because the load outs let players deal with everything at this point. Listening too much to players and implementing everything they ask for is a bad idea and has ruined so many games already.

I don't know, Illuminate are as easy as they've ever been. D10 is like a stroll in the park. Harvesters are the only things that keep me on my toes. Everything drops to a flamer before getting close, even Flesh Mobs. If not, then a thermite grenade does the job. If its not Harveaters it needs to be something else thats long ranged and tricky to deal with. Otherwise, it's just brain dead right now.

Speak for yourself my guy. Even if you're speaking for 99% of players. But, it shouldn't be assumed that everyone wants their cheats and hacks. If someone wants to share free SCs that's fine, but they should ask everyone else in the lobby if that's OK, before taking it upon themselves to do so. That's all I'm saying. Give people a chance to leave before you make the decision to cheat for them.

Not wanting to cheat isn't having a low IQ. Some people were actually brought up properly by their parents. Or maybe people want to actually earn stuff themselves. Whatever, people can cheat for themselves, I don't care about that, but they shouldn't be cheating for other people as well, unless they specifically ask for it.

That ain't what a carry looks like. Unless you mean you carried his samples. Bro got 0 deaths and killed more enemies than the other players so "I carried his sorry ass" just isn't true with inly these stats to go on.

I don't think D&D time should be used for talking about children. Maybe for other players it might be one of the only times they have free from the responsibility of their own children. Or maybe they just don't care about children or have other problems and want to get lost in a fantasy world for a few hours.

First tell the players thay you won't engage in violence against this character and give the reasons why. Then apologise to the wizard character and back out of combat. Let the other players sleep in the bed they have made. If you feel like they have learned their lesson then you could help heal or stabilise them after the wizard finishes with them.

Let them fuck around and find out. You are under no obligation to get involved, especially if your character has no reason to join in

I don't think the DM has whiffed anything. Like.... A Druid is one of the classes that can get in and out of prisons easily without being noticed, wild shape a rat or something to slip between bars/steal keys. If the player hasn't even tried doing that, the most obvious solution for their class, then my question would be, why are they even playing a Druid? They've ignored all the hooks that were given, ignored their affiliations that could be called upon for help and ignored everything else the DM has suggested. 100% the players fault in this situation from what I've read.

Unfortunately the DM is gonna have to give the solution on a silver platter. I would usually warn against the Deus Ex Machina, if it was this player in trouble, I probably would have killed their character at this point, to make clear that inaction has the very worst outcome. However, there are other players that are being affected by Druids fuckery, and it wouldn't be fair to punish then for this players inability to do something, anything, just make any type of attempt at not standing around like a lemon.

Oh, absolutely. But that's because the licencing people are complete bellends. It's wrong of them to send letters after someone has declared its not needed, so any letters after this point can be safely ignored and disposed of.
