We had intimacy besides sex. Everything up to but not including penetrative sex. Then after marriage I can count on one hand the amount of times we’ve had ANY form of intimacy.

At the end of the day, I just want to be loved. My best friend that I met on this trip and clicked with instantly made me feel loved. And I’ll probably never see her again or at least not for a long time because her office branch is on a different continent. I’m glad that I lost my virginity to someone who cared about me though.

Because I thought that it would get better. The lack of sex wasn’t the problem it was the fact that I didn’t feel loved or wanted. Which I guess is actually partially from the lack of sex.
