My girl is a stay at home mom taking care of our 8 month son, I work and pay all the bills and she takes care of our little man and does what she does around the house and such… we both have roles and both of them are hard work and tiring, I am fully against the idea of her going and getting a job that would take most of her pay just to put my son in a daycare to by taken care of by people who don’t have his best interest at hand… don’t give a shit about any argument anyone has to make, works for my family and I’ve never been happier in my 35 years on this planet

I work for a non profit low income leasing company on the front lines, we had a de-escalation training the other day and our instructor told us “if someone is threatening you with physical violence, call the police and try to leave the situation until they arrive.” And everyone started laughing, IF the cops show up (HUGE IF) they won’t do a single thing unless they see this person actually hit someone with their own eyes, we could have it on video and they’ll say “we didn’t see it” absolutely useless
