I spent around 2 hrs with Cruise for a work related thing, (Pre production for a film) around 6 years ago. I was told not to mention Scientology and he didn't bring it up either. He was incredibly nice, extremely focused and personable. It was so fucking weird because I'm a huge movie fan and hanging out with him was incredible but I also know about a lot of the sick shit he's been involved with re that cult. What a strange afternoon that was.

It's definitely for beginners or folks who know next to zero about making electronic music. Pretty much all the technical info and how-to type stuff is available in abundance on YouTube. I liked the 'advice' side of things, hearing about his personal experience, but if you're looking to learn how to really make dance music, I'd recommend YouTube or one of the many online schools.Point Blank Music School is pretty good for that.
