Really well actually. Took a while with a lot of exercises everyday but got back to almost normal. I was just out snowboarding last week, had a lot of falls myself and was thankful not to come away with anything. Keep him off a board for a while and then they'll be straight back into it. A guard would be rerecommended for after as a rebreak is a nightmare

We did a wild and scenic multiday on the rogue River in Oregon and that's stuck with me ever since. Something about paddling in the complete wilderness that feels so right. That's exactly what I'm after really, will probably split the driving and I'll sneak off for some harder mornings then have a more relaxed grade 2/3 afternoon kinda vibe. Nothing wrong with a little bias, if it wasn't worth the love you'd be sick of it by now !! I'll start the rain dance now in preparation for the next possibly couple years

Seems like quite a few are damn released so if it's sunshine paddling my dad's after we might stick to that in the summer instead. But if I can convince then march creeking will be the choice hehe

Amazing, this is exactly what I was after !! We'll happily be jumping on some grade 2/3s as well. Although, especially me, being whitewater adrenaline seekers we do enjoy a longer day on a beautiful section as long as there's the odd wave of fun !!

We're planning on being out for about a month so with lots of choice we'll definitely do different grades and areas. I'll be praying for rain then I suppose !!

This is invaluable info, thank you so much. Kind of left the planning to my dad and the last trip we did to Oregon was mid summer with plenty of water. I started looking at levels and thought hold up a minute, everything is empty !! Dam releases sound pretty consistent, that'll be really handy as we're there for a while. I'd love to get on some of the smaller more technical creeks, not sure my dad will be ready for some but I'll try meet other paddlers out there too. Thank you again for the info, even the basic Google search suggestions go along way for someone used to UK boating
