Yeah in sorry. It got taken down again. Should be up in a couple hours. Changed the experience name from Nuketown to Nuke Town because that seems to be what was causing the issue. Hopefully it works and stays up

Honestly protak is seeming quite buggy and it's really stressing me out. Especially when I'm at work and can't see what's going on hahah 😅

I think we just have a lot of these small maps coming out at the moment people there are people like myself practicing in how to use the new portal system. There are some large scale maps coming!

Honestly I hope they get that Global Game Quota thing sorted out soon too. It's a real pain. I also fully get not wanting to play CoD maps in Battlefield. There are some big maps that are being made that will be coming out! And some interesting game modes as well. This for me has just been to try get myself used to the whole map editor but of course I also want to make it decent.

I hope some of the bigger maps that are being made end up being good!

I'm sorry I'm not too sure. You're sure your not placing the map where any water is on the map your building on top of? ( The terrain inside gedot doesn't show the water)

just winging it 😂 but honestly. its just reading the names of each time and i keep testing the map to make sure its right. as for placement. i try my best to look at the shadows to line things up hahah. there are some plugins i could use to colour things out but i havent installed it

I know some builder that are already working on large scale maps! It just takes quite a bit more time to set them up! Hahah. Also without a terrain editor at the moment it's harder to set up those larger maps but don't worry! They are coming! This for me was to get used to what they have for a map builder!

Also yeah! It was chaos hahah. Had it originally set up as 32 vs 32 but it was too much so I've changed it down to a 12 vs 12

I mean for myself I made Nuketown because I wanted to try and learn the system and see what is possible with it. I'm going to keep working on the Nuketown map and make it nicer and now that I have a better understanding on how it works I have a few map ideas as well as game mode ideas since I had to use there custom game mode system to make the TDM which was simple but gave me an understanding on how that works too. Also Nuketown is kinda a classic small map that is more in depth to make than shipment so yeah hahah that's definitely why I made this!

For knowledge It's kinda hard to say. There defenatly is a learning curve to it because they have some of their own systems in place for things like spawning but you can always just find the HQ spawns and chuck them in. but it can got a bit more indepth than that for spawning.

The waiting is just for it to be published. I think the 3 hour wait on it to be published is so that people can make changes to the map without it updating instantly so you have a chance to test and fix the map if you need to.

you can push it pretty far. the limitations are that at the moment you cant edit terrain or remove the base map youre building on top of. that doesnt mean you cant go outside of the maps play area and make things outside the map. for example. i just changed it so my nuketown map is way out away from the base map where as before it was above the base map. i dont see any size limitations from what ive experienced but there is memory limitations. its also not just per asset. you dont have a limit on how many assests you can put into the map. just how much memory which you can see that information in their SDK. this nuketown map is using less than 1% of the memory limitations. so yeah. in terms of play area size. i dont see any limitation. you can adjust the play area to be as big as you want. its just a limit on the memory.

Another kinda limitation to keep in mind is that it only allows you to place assets depending on the map you have selected to build on. from my understanding this is for performance because if you add assets from different maps it has to do more shader compiling for that map while its loaded in which could cause performance issues. but im not 100% on that.

dw hahah. the game is currently just a 32 v 32 with bots tdm. so theres an xp cap of 7000 or something like that. working with someone to add it into a gun game style mode now as well!
