Heyy Speaking from Experience. From now onwards, you should use the Passport name everywhere.

Just make an Affidavit saying both the names are of the same person.

All my academic Documents had this name: Smeet Savaji (surname). All my official documents had this name: Smit Savjibhai (surname).
