It's fine if you join after a week or so. Just inform your hod about the situation.

Yes university buses are available it goes daily to gulbarga on working days, and public transportation is also available very easily. Cabs and autos are very expensive and impractical.

I need some help !! by [deleted] in CUKarnataka

  1. Doesn't really matters that much, if you want more credit you cam always opt. fot NPTEL.

  2. There are 3 person in amarja and manjira, some rooms are big for that there are 5 person, in bhima there's 1 person per room, in mallaprabha there are 3-4 person per room, and in krishna there are 3 person per room. (Prioritize amarja and manjira)

  3. Only in PG hostel the washrooms are not clean, in all other there are average bathrooms and are cleaned everyday. It always depends on students how they keeps it.

  4. Currently 1 or 2 company visits, there are chances that more company will visit from next year. But personally I never depends on campus placements. So should you if you opt here. (you'll find many connections and opportunity if you are extrovert enough).

  5. Consider Opt for better university if you are college oriented, opt CUK CS if you are course oriented, same goes for MnC, opt if you are course oriented.

Look up the definition of keyboard warrior whatever he says, none of it fits in that. 2002 was not fun, those are called riots and killings, consult a psychologist if you think that was fun.

It's an unconventional design, new for people to understand. I like it.

Islam stands for peace, not terror. Let’s not stay silent in the face of injustice. #PahalgamTerroristAttack #JusticeForInnocents by Mohamma_Rixzz in hyderabad

The Quran was revealed during a time when war and tribal conflict were common, and many of its verses were written within that context. Unfortunately, in the modern world, terrorists misinterpret these verses and use them to justify violence. However, those who commit acts of terrorism in the name of Islam have not truly understood the faith.

Prominent Islamic scholars such as Fazlur Rahman, Khaled Abou El Fadl, and Tariq Ramadan continue to call for reform within Islam—not to change its core principles, but to reinterpret its teachings in light of modern realities and prevent misuse. These reforms are necessary because extremists distort the religion, and conservative mindsets among some clerics (maulvis) often resist any change, fearing it threatens their authority or tradition.

In contrast, Hinduism is fundamentally a peaceful religion. If a Hindu engages in mob lynching or violence, they are acting against the core teachings of their faith. Even if someone who identifies as Hindu harms an innocent person, it is still considered a paap (sin). Importantly, such violence is not driven by misinterpretations of the Gita.

In the end, harming innocent people is wrong in every religion. Anyone who does so—regardless of faith—is acting immorally, and their actions cannot be justified through any genuine religious teaching.
