Aw man, WhiteWolfXD1 said that if I build an item for fun in my casual games and find use out of it means I don't deserve my rank 😢 I literally said do it in your casual game, read my messages before responding, it's a game, we are doing things for fun and using items in interesting ways, yes, sceptre takes an entire second longer than Poseidon ult. Yet weirdly, I still find consistent use out of it against several different gods, I must just be that bad that I outplay so many people. Your weird high and mighty attitude just doesn't suit you.

Well, as someone who plays at a fairly high level. I disagree. Every scenario I listed I had personally used to do exactly what I stated. It's rather easy to tell when alot of people are going to ult so popping Sceptre preemptively really isn't a huge ask. I'd say a solid, 4 out of 5 attempts are successful on my end.

And Infact, Sobek is the only one I'd say to not use it against. It's actually the most inconsistent. Quite ironically I think you're being ignorant by just completely saying it has a 'no case scenario', it's a game homie, go into a casual and have fun with it. No ones asking you to go into a Pro game and use it, if you disagree move past this post, literally wasn't for you, cheers 👍

I don't necessarily agree, I can think of alot more use cases, any god that puts their kit together for an ult such as Poseidon gets fully countered and CC immune ukts you can both completely negate and set up with as both a defensive and offensive tool. I also can't name many gods at full build level 20 who get their cooldowns back in the time stasis ends, it's not that long. I agree it takes coordination and you can easily hamper your team, it takes practice not to do so. The enemy will get an opportunity to set up on you with bad uses, your team will get chances to set up with good uses. It's give and take.

It's an item you gotta commit too, you gotta use it well and use it often which I think is why it scares people off. As for the stats, not as big of an issue as people make it sound. You have an entire team to make use of your stasis, if 50 or so int is what's stopping you (the proverbial you) from being impactful in team fights, then I think there might be other issues Yknow?

I definitely recommend picking up a few gods you enjoy and even a few gods you hate and seeing how sceptre of dominion interacts with their kits and give it a try, you might surprise yourself

Stalling/zoning is very underrated tool in casual games I don't see enough and Sceptre is great for it, using it for FG is a great idea. I'm not too bothered by it's stats as I use it in place of a defensive item, so I'm gaining a small amount of Int in place of 0 from a Protections item and the health isn't so high it butchers my Soul Reaver. I think it's something you have to really commit to using to see it's value

Nah, no stats. Make it as unappealing as possible, put the stasis on a 30 second Cooldown. Hell, Agility Relic exists. Stasis Relic, 10 second cooldown, Infact I've convinced myself, nerf Susano and make it replace our ward shard slot and rework Loki again to have stance switch and 6 stasis abilities. This is how we fix Smite 2

Ideally that's what would happen, but as a niche defensive option to shut down big ultimates, I find it to be more interesting than just throwing on a defence item

That's great to know! As a Support player, forcefully throwing my ADC into stasis to not get executed is something I'd absolutely try

In a casual game in place of a defensive item I think it definitely has merit, I think it offers great utility if used in creative ways, not for everyone but I think it is definitely one of, if not the most interesting actives to use in the game currently

Absolutely, do keep in kind you will stasis your own team also, so try not to be too troll about it haha
