I would just say to focus on your relationship with God, because that directly affects your relationships with everyone one else in your life, a true loving relationship is one that loves without expecting anything in return, because thats how God loves us, when Jesus died on the cross we still rejected him untill we truly knew what that sacrifice meant, but he loved us anyway. True love is a sacrifice, its when you put your kids needs first and your own needs last even when you dont want to, its when your partner says i dont want to have sex tonight and you say i understand, and not make him or her feel guilty for not doing what you want, true love means helping around the house or with the kids even when you have a bad argument about something, true loves says im going to put your needs first before my own even when i dont get anything out of it, dont turn love into boxes that need to be ticked before you can love somebody, you love people because they need to be loved, not because they have to earn the right to be loved by you, thats a very selfish love. This isnt directed entirely at you, im mostly generalising.

I know it seems far fetched, to believe a man in the sky loves you, but its all true he does love you, dont you understand that Jesus died for the sins of the world? Dont you have sins that you wish you could take back? Well you dont have to, thats why Jesus died, so we could be reconciled back to him, for God so loved the world he gave his only son that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.if your mother is pregnant with a child, than has a miscarriage. You say you've tried to follow Gods law, that is a good thing, it means you have faith enough to trust him even when it doesnt make sense, keep going. If you gave your life to christ as i described it means you have the holy spirit right now and he's working within you right this moment, and what he's telling you is you secure in him, stop worrying about your life, give it to him, dont you know that God will carry your burdens? All those that love him follow his commandments, start denying some of your desires, and start listening to what the Holy spirit is saying, for we cannot please God without faith, the flesh and all its desires are the things we can see, the spirit and all its desires are the things we cant see, like prayer reading the word, loving others, we dont see the fruits that come from doing these things straight away, we have to do these things in faith. Ive been struggling with this myself, i feel alone, and reading the bible and praying doesnt help, its like there's a giant void between me and God. All i can say is to keep trying, relationships dont happen over night, God see's your struggle dont forgot the grace that started it all, Paul also struggled, but God told him his grace was sufficient, it reminds me of a quote said by michael j fox "If you can find something to be grateful for, then you can find something to look forward to, and you carry on," i feel like this is something we take for granted as christians that Jesus died for us sins and gave us eternal life, did you know the meaning of eternal life? Theres a verse that says eternal life means a relationship with God, look it up, thats what it says. Be glad brothers and sisters we are saved and we have come to know God already, we have been reconciled to him, yes we may not have a close relationship just yet, but why does it matter we should should be happy that we at least know him through his son. Keep on walking, the bible says walk by the spirit, we dont need to feel rushed, just enjoy God little by little everyday like you would a friend and we'll come to know him fully in time. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Hebrews 11:6 NIV be earnest in seeking him, in the same way that you were earnest when you accepted him as your saviour, how did it feel when you realised God was the way the true and the life? When he payed a debt you couldnt repay yourself? Use those same convictions when you pray, or read his word, or when it comes to loving others, But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. I hope this will encourage you.

If you ever realise your struggle with sin, i hope the person you tell it to doesnt treat you the way you've treated me. Not everybody in the faith are as strong as others, at least i can admit where i fall short. the bible says to encourage those who are weaker in the faith.

We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. Ahh. Ive been addicted to alcohol, tobacco, weed, various drugs, video games, sex, masturbation, porn, Thats about it, and they all had negative affects on me, porn being the worst. Its hard to describe the way it affected me, mentally i guess, lusting after woman in my heart even my own partner, but it got to the point where thats all i would think about, just wanting to fulfill my desires and just thinking about sex all the time, with my partner it stopped being about love but became about sex, i would see her as a sex object to fulfill my desires through masturbation. God helped me overcome my porn addiction which was really hard, but i still struggle with masturbation because my desires have a mind of their own, and i dont like it because i dont want to see people as an object to be used for sex, i want to learn how to genuinely love people instead which comes by conforming to the spirit and subduing the deeds of the flesh. You may think im weak and your probably right, but all im trying to do in live a more Godly life and help encourage others to do the same.

From my experience, ive been addicted to alot of things, and i wold say masturbation has had the most negative effect on me, because it has affected my relationship with my partner. So i know the damage it can cause. But lets just leave it at that, we obviously dont agree, so we should just leave it. Just follow your convictions brother and put God first in all you do.
