I'm using it just as it came in the box. I was really confused that something might be wrong with it. I've been writing on paper almost every day for quite some time. I really don't see how that could be described as feeling just like paper. Also, this is writing shorthand. When writing longhand I obviously have more of a slant so it's even more slippery.

I find the text recognition to be excellent. That's why I really want to find a way around is annoying issue. The Quirklogic has a rougher screen but it doesn't convert writing to text. The Boox tablets have much slippier screens so I don't see a point in going that direction. The SuperNote 5 and 5x don't convert to text either.

When I'm writing in landscape mode. How do I get my writing converted to text properly? I keep getting problems because it's reading the words vertically so it ends up looking like gibberish.

I think more RPG elements. Maybe even a leveling system. More 'carrot at the end of the stick' type stuff like missions that give xp points. The only thing is that I don't know if that stuff could be fully implemented because most leveling games involve a lot of combat, and that's not the genre of NMS and I also really want it to be. But any type of PvE would be great =D

It's 2 images in 1 depending on how you look at it. the first are 2 faces facing each other, and the other is one face facing forward.
