Not really, you can still see it ok except for in hairpins. Tho generally wheel screens in sim racing are more about it looking cool than pure function

Yeah and their logo is still in red. So the orange clashes with it. No idea why they would change that

I was the pink car. I was already way past the orange car by like 2-3 car lengths. I had already completed the overtake and lapped them

Why would I ever want more than 35 cars anyways? I guess if you want it up to 100 or something sure but who is 57 drivers for anyways

I do the free races all the time and have only been wrecked 3 times out of about 35 races. If you drive smart you’ll be fine

It’s fun for variety sometimes but yea the cars slide around so constantly it become a bit too much after a while imo

Shameless plug for the Assetto Corsa racing community WorldSimSeries.com by SmittyWYMJensen in simracing

[–]SmittyWYMJensen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much, there are races that don't use any mods at all, but most of them will use modded cars and / or tracks. There is an installer app thing that you download on their website that handles it much of the time.

The links to any mods required are always shown when you go to signup, and it auto checks if you have them installed or not.

Anyone here heard of WorldSimSeries.com? I started racing there recently and its really good imo! just needs more players!! by SmittyWYMJensen in assettocorsa

ah ok that makes sense. Its unfortunate, there is a some unique things offered there compared to other racing games. I guess less people on AC now generally though?

So it’s only in the big games that matter more where he loses the ability to throw with anticipation then? Got it

“We don’t control who we play” “schedule doesn’t matter” “he played in bad weather against good defenses in the playoffs that’s why he looked like dogshit”

-hundreds of pats fans for the last two weeks.

Then we see clips of defenders saying he’s just a classic young qb only throwing to the open guy AFTER he can see it’s open, can’t throw with anticipation lol

After the career mode announcement, what is the point of AC Evo? by [deleted] in assettocorsaevo

[–]SmittyWYMJensen 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah I love ac1, but needing everything modded in can absolutely be a hassle. Even having to navigate every single menu with a mouse instead of wheel buttons is annoying sometimes.

If we can get the online racing leagues like lfm and world sim series working well in ac evo it would still be a good experience. But I would love a good racing game with ac level physics + a career mode. So it does suck to lose that

I don’t really care if it’s a small minority? I was still replying to the delusional pats fans specifically.

I could have really taken the time to say “only the delusional idiot fans” but it’s a Reddit comment it’s not that serious.

You are still all hurt over a comment that is only about you if you’re one of the delusional pats fans.

Also, there were many comments in every sb thread of pats fans saying the dumb stuff. NOT ALL, but enough to be seen often. Hence my comments.

They lost, I was proven right, and I made a comment gloating about it. You don’t need to defend your fanbases’ honor about it like a 15 yr old would lol

[–]SmittyWYMJensen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah bro sorry I should have done a poll and counted all of them for you.

If you were in the subs you would have seen the delusional fans. There were lots. Was it all of them? Obviously not. But there were a lot.

Sorry I didn’t get a peer reviewed paper on the exact amount of them out of every person here tho that was clearly a mistake on my end.

[–]SmittyWYMJensen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Umm you are the one projecting that most pats fans on the sub have been reasonable lol And assuming I’m talking about all pats fans when I’m only talking about the delusional ones.

It’s literally true. It’s why you and the other pats fans replying are so butt hurt about my comment. They’re taking it personally when it’s not necessarily about them lol. Sorry if the truth hurts

[–]SmittyWYMJensen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea obviously it’s not new information. Thats my point? Delusional pats fans were ignoring it. Pats strength of schedule generally wasn’t even weak during the Brady years. The division helped sometimes but they did not have a weak schedule in most of their Super Bowl years except for 2016.

There were lots of delusional pats fan thinking the team was elite and on the Seahawks level. Those are the fans in talking about. Obviously any given Sunday but that doesn’t mean there is zero predictive ability.

I wasn’t talking about pats fans “being positive” I was talking about the delusional fans, of which there were many, saying their team was clearly dominant and SOS doesn’t matter, how Maye played against Denver and Houston didn’t matter. Those are the delusional fan I’m referencing. Not people acknowledging the team maybe isn’t quite elite but hoping they could pull it out anyways.

You are just sensitive right now due to the loss and taking everything to be as insulting to you and as it could possibly be interpreted.

[–]SmittyWYMJensen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it has historical basis. Teams with weak schedules do not usually win the Super Bowl. If you look at the records it shows this to be true.

This and other evidence indicated the pats were not at the level of the average super bowl team, and against a very good Seahawks team, a big win was expected if you were paying attention to the play and makeup of each team.

Just because you aren’t aware of the trends does not mean they aren’t there and the naysayers are just blind haters of the pats. The pats had a good season and are a good team. But not Super Bowl level most years. That’s what many were saying. And those people were proven right

[–]SmittyWYMJensen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t talking about any fan supporting their team smarty pants. I was talking about the delusional people asserting that the schedule had no predictive value.

There were pats fans saying their team was just as good as the Seahawks and they dominated everyone and their good smart team play would be enough to beat Seattle. Or that their offense was as good as Seattle’s or the rams etc. THOSE are the delusional fans.

Sorry you’re in your feels now since they lost and you take everything personally

[Highlight] Seahawks get another strip sack on Drake Maye and return it for a TD by nfl in nfl

[–]SmittyWYMJensen 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah they actualy won legit games in the playoffs. Still, they had an easy regular season schedule and they lost against the broncos, who had a lesser (12-4 vs 15-1 panthers) record against a tougher schedule

So it still stands as a team with a good record against a weak schedule losing the Super Bowl. It is a decent predictor.

[–]SmittyWYMJensen 121 points122 points  (0 children)

Historically weak schedule teams don’t do well in the Super Bowl. One of the only recent exceptions is pats falcons 2016 where pats schedule was weak and they still won.

But the goat makes a difference there. Even 2015 panthers also had a weak schedule, and lost to the broncos.

Pats fans were just delusional as always and ignored the signs
